New HRA Logo
Horsell Residents' Association adopted an new logo designed by Peter Hobbs (HRA webmaster) for 2005 onwards - one of several modernising improvements undertaken by HRA in its 40th year.

A POCKET GUIDE

Contains an illustrated map and a short history of Horsell. Published by HRA Footpath Group. Available for £1.50p from main local shops or directly from HRA.

HRA Community News Magazine The Resident Reappears
1.Dec.2004: Restored to its original title and now with a greater variety of articles and information, HRA's longstanding free news magazine is delivered to all Horsell households quarterly by volunteer Road Stewards. Any resident not receiving a copy each quarter (or anyone living elsewhere wishing a copy at P&P cost) may contact HRA accordingly.

Summer '08: Function suspended for a period while HRA concentrates on expanding its quarterly "Resident" magazine into a 12-page full colour publication from March 2008 onwards. We hope to resume the news function soon. Meanwhile "The Resident" carries local news, feature articles and items of topical interest - next issue due out in July 2008 for free distribution to every Horsell household.

HRA Logo 2005 WAS THE 40th ANIVERSARY OF THE HRA. We would be very interested to hear from any residents (or ex-residents!) who might like to contribute information or photographs towards an article about Horsell or the HRA's origins back in 1965. Please contact the HRA if you have memories of the period.

GARDEN SAFARI

Sat-Sun 8-9 June 2008

viewing 22 Horsell gardens.

The Safari raises funds for
the Horsell 2000 Village Hall refurbishment project. Organised in association with Horsell Allotment Society, the 2008 event raised more than £4,000 over the two days.
